Rotary paddle detectors and radar sensors enable complete monitoring in waste-to-energy plant
Comprehensive control at a waste-to-energy plant
In a beautiful area of the UK, a waste-to-energy plant needed a comprehensive level control solution for the entire facility.
The challenge:
To optimize the entire supply chain process, the operator was looking for a single supplier that could provide comprehensive advice, the expertise and products from a single source. The UWT UK team achieved this by building a trusting relationship with the plant operator, ensuring safety, reliability and maximum efficiency from the consultation process through to the installation of the equipment.
The solution:
The right products had to be found for the entire application for both continuous and point level monitoring throughout the plant.
Various individual configurations of the Rotonivo® RN 3002 rotating paddle detector and the Mononivo® - MN 4030 vibrating rod were installed for the point level measurement of fly ash in the filter systems. It was important for the sensors to have ATEX certification and be able to withstand temperatures of up to 150°C.
The NivoRadar® - NR 3100 was supplied with 5-point calibration certificates for continuous monitoring of the bulk goods storage facility, providing absolute certainty for the accuracy of the devices.
