Speed detection and steering angle monitoring with Kübler sensors.
Industrial trucks, also known as driverless transport systems (AGVs), have been used successfully in modern logistics centers for years - and the trend is rising. Materials and goods with different loads are transported, stacked and stored and retrieved at defined locations. Logistics centers can only become more efficient through the precise control of automated guided vehicles. Sensors play an essential role here. Kübler encoders are successfully used for speed detection and precise steering angle monitoring. Draw-wire encoders ensure the exact position of the load carriers and thus precise measurement of the lifting height. Optimum travel speed and error-free storage and retrieval of goods are the result of precise and reliable sensor technology.
