On the road to success with specialty glass for over 50 years

The more than 50-year business relationship between the Schönsee-based specialty glass company Irlbacher and Schott AG, a global technology group based in Mainz, demonstrates how economic growth in the Upper Palatinate works

This has also inspired the partnership with Schott, which has lasted more than 50 years this year and covers around 20% of the company's business volume. With over 17,000 employees, Schott is a leading international technology group based in Mainz in the fields of material innovations, specialty glass and glass ceramics.
